lOxOl is made by Root Cellar Software. This page explains what lOxOl stores about you, why, and how to have it deleted. lOxOl has no ads and no trackers, and never sells or shares your information for marketing.
What lOxOl stores
- Your Riot account. When you sign in with Riot, Riot tells lOxOl your account's ID, your Riot ID (name and tag) and your region. lOxOl never sees your Riot password.
- Your games. lOxOl reads your match history and ranked standing from Riot's official API so it can show your history, scores and coaching. This is the same information Riot makes available to any approved app.
- What you add. Your display name, settings, goals, matchup notes, private notes about players, the players you follow and the teams you join. Your notes are private to you: nobody else, including the player, ever sees them.
- Sign-in sessions. A random session key so the app stays signed in. The server keeps only a scrambled (hashed) form of it, plus the device name and the last address it was used from.
- Patreon, if you link it. Your Patreon user ID and whether you have an active pledge to lOxOl. lOxOl never sees your payment details.
- Crash reports, only if you agree. If the app crashes and you choose to send a report, it includes the error, the app version and your Windows version.
- Weekly recap, only if you turn it on. The Discord webhook address or e-mail address you enter.
What other players can see
Linking an account makes lOxOl's analysis of that account's public match history available in lOxOl, the same way any Riot-approved stats site can. Other lOxOl users cannot see that you use lOxOl unless you are on a team together, and they can only follow your games if you allow it in Settings.
Who lOxOl shares data with
- Riot Games, to sign you in and read game data through the official API.
- Patreon, only if you link it, to check your pledge.
- Discord, only the recap you asked lOxOl to send to your own webhook.
- The company that hosts lOxOl's server, which stores the data on lOxOl's behalf.
How long data is kept
Your account data is kept until you delete it. Sign-in sessions end after 90 days without use. Database backups are kept for 14 days. Match data from Riot's API may stay in lOxOl's statistics after you delete your account, because it is part of Riot's public match history and does not identify you as a lOxOl user.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings, then Delete my lOxOl account. This removes your account, linked Riot accounts, settings, goals, notes, follows and team memberships right away. You can also ask by e-mail; see data deletion.
Children
lOxOl is for players who meet Riot's own age requirements for League of Legends in their country.
